Fiesta Mexicana is a community celebration held every September in honor of Mexico’s Independence. In Woodburn, OR—where there’s a large Spanish-speaking population—the event features a vibrant fair. I had the opportunity to collaborate with Portland General Electric (PGE) to create a 12ft x 6ft bilingual mural that helped the brand connect more meaningfully with attendees and encourage interaction at their booth.
The mural was inspired by the atmosphere of a traditional Mexican town celebration, complete with a garden, a kiosk, a church, and colorful fireworks.
